Our Story
Urban Youth Pathways was founded in 2005 by former teachers who saw firsthand the barriers facing students in Chicago's underserved neighborhoods. What started as an after-school tutoring program has evolved into a comprehensive support system serving over 8,000 students annually. Our approach combines academic support with mentorship, career exposure, and college preparation. We're proud that 94% of our students graduate high school, compared to the district average of 78%.
